The Android operating system from Google is gaining support in the mobile sector, and is expected to be sold this year to eight million mobile Android 10 times more than a year ago, according to market research firm Strategy Analytics. While the worldwide market for phones is decreasing as it extends the recession, the mobile sector is focusing investment on more advanced phones and its programs. Android was introduced in the United States in the second half of 2008, and now, the main sellers of mobile phones, except Nokia, have said they will use it. On March 3, 2009, Qt Software announced that no further development of Qt Extended as an individual product, adding some capabilities in the Qt framework .
