Municipalidad de Puerto Varas, was held the opening ceremony of the activities of the Programme Improving the Employability and Employment Conditions of Women Heads of Household, for the second year running the City of Puerto Varas. At the time Don Luis Becerra Vargas, Director of Community Development expressed the importance to Puerto Varas develop this project. It was attended by approximately 100 women that participated in the program during 2009, which made their commitment to the program, as well as municipal authorities, councilors and representatives of SERNAM, the Labour Inspectorate and Pemar.
